Empowering lives affected by Turner Syndrome through support, education, advocacy, and community.

Living with Turner Syndrome

Can girls with TS attend school like other children?
Yes — most girls with TS attend regular schools. Some may benefit from support with learning, especially in areas like maths, memory, or spatial reasoning. Open communication between parents, teachers, and health professionals can help meet each child’s learning needs.

Can women with TS have children?
Most women with TS experience infertility, but family planning options such as egg donation, IVF, and surrogacy are available in some cases. Supportive counselling and advice from fertility specialists are recommended.

Is it safe for someone with TS to exercise or play sport?
Yes — physical activity is encouraged. However, because some girls with TS have heart or joint conditions, it’s always best to check with a doctor before starting new sports or exercise routines
